What Is It?
CosMedix Purity Balance is a clarifying cleaser and a prep product that prepares you for deep exfoliation treatments. It combines naturally-sourced antiseptics and exfoliators to purify your pores while refreshing the appearance of your face.
How Does It Work?
Purity Balance contains tea tree oil, known for its antiseptic, qualities. It also contains lactic acid, and salicylic acid. Lactic acid naturally dissolves dead skin cell layers, allowing the salicylic acid to seep deep into your pores to kill the bacteria that's harmful for your complexion. Salicylic acid also prevents future breakouts from occurring. Purity Balance also contains ingredients such as witch hazel, vitamin B5, vitamin B3, biotin, lavender oil, peppermint oil, aloe flower extract, tumeric root extract, pearl powder, and vitamin B2.
How Do I Use It?
Pump a small amount into your clean hands and pat it on your face. Use the Purity Balance in the morning, in the evening, or both.

Keep Purity Balance out of your eyes. Use Benefit Clean or Purity Clean after using the exfoliating prep product. Always use a sunscreen on your face to prevent sun damage and premature signs of aging. For best results, wait until the Purity Balance product has dried on your face, but it's not necessary to wait before you use a moisturizing sunscreen. If you're pregnant or currently breastfeeding, then consult with your doctor before using the product.
